The Bankruptcy Administrator's Office is closed today. Notice: Due to Congressional sequestration and the resulting budget crisis, the Office of the Bankruptcy Administrator for the Western District of North Carolina will be closed on the following days and all staff will be furloughed without pay. No messages will be accepted or responded to during office furloughs/closings, including email correspondence and voice mail messages. Any communications will need to be delayed until the office reopens. Please note that all staff are also required to take additional, and individually scheduled, non-paid furlough days. Appropriate messages will be left on individuals' voice mail greetings and automatic email responses. If your attempts to communicate with staff are returned to you due to an individual staff's furlough, you will need to reinstitute the communications once that individual furlough date ends. While the Office of the Bankruptcy Administrator deeply regrets the necessity of this action, it is within the control of Congress and not this Office.
