The Circuit Executive for the Fourth Circuit announced on May 23, 2017, that the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit selected Shelley Koon Abel of Charlotte, North Carolina, to fill a vacancy for bankruptcy administrator in the Western District of North Carolina. Ms. Abel was sworn in on September 15, 2017.
